this is freakin' hilarious

Those million yard signs that were supposed to appear last week on the lawns of Mormons 'round the state? So what happened to them? Heh.

So maybe it's not God's work after all? Wouldn't he be supporting the effort?

Yeah, it's definitely a sign! I hope some of them wake up and notice.

i wondered about that. here's wishing the signs never make it at all.

Yeah, the only yard signs and bumper stickers I've seen so far around here would not please the anti-SSM forces.

But, I've heard that the canvassers have been out. One of my knitting friends apparently frustrated them mightily. :)

i half wish the canvassers would stop by my place in the next couple of weeks so i can "frustrate them mightily," too. :)

hahahahaha!
I loved this "So, the Yes campaign, rather than purchasing some good old fashioned union made in America lawn signs, they went to some cut rate producer in China who blew the delivery date by at least three weeks. What, they couldn't afford traditional American signs?... Why does the Yes on 8 campaign hate America?"

Know any mormons in California? (Or Utah, Wyoming, or Hawaii?) Please go to www.mormonsfor8.com and then click on the link in the spreadsheet there. It's a list sorted by city, of all donors of $1000 and more to Protectmarriage.com . Currently 39% of the large donations are identified as having come from Mormon donors. If you see someone you know who's Mormon, but not identified as such, you can send in an email to the site to identify them. We think that true percentage of money donated by Mormons will reach around 75-80% in the end. The site is an attempt to find out just how much support for Prop 8 came from Mormons.

I'll have to do that, anonymous. I didn't realize they were looking for that, but I took a look at the list and there are, indeed two people...well, actually a person and a company but the company belongs to the person's son-in-law...who are most definitely Mormon (they were in my ward for years) who contributed. Kinda made me feel queasy when I saw that.

I read somewhere (I apologize, I cannot remember where), that they signs were late arriving from China-where they were printed. I think it might have been Wiki leaks?
