Allright internets, I'll be the first to admit that I make up words all the time and even innovate on my spelling occasionally and on purpose. Sometimes I even abandon punctuation altogether. Sometimes. Nit-picky, indeed.

I was raised Mormon, but now I'm a hippie Quaker living in the OC with my two teenage kids: CatGirl & GameBoy.
Twenty-six years ago I lost my right leg to bone cancer. Awhile ago I had an antibiotic-resistant infection in my lower left leg, and now I'm healing from surgery and feeling better every day.
I like gardening, making history, outrigger canoeing, trying new things, and my afternoon cup of tea.

I'm with Mr. Luker on this one.
But then, I nitpick on my blog, too.
i'm with mr. luker, too. common errors are to be avoided. and they're a completely different thing from creative misspelling or absence of punctuation. or from using errors to make a point.
i know--rather hypocritical coming from someone who doesn't capitalize on her blog. :) but i wouldn't sacrifice general correctness, even if i don't capitalize as a stylistic choice.
i will say, that while i'm as nit-picky as mr. luger that wouldn't keep me from reading what someone has to say. i don't believe making common errors indicates an absence of all value...
