I was raised Mormon, but now I'm a hippie Quaker living in the OC with my two teenage kids: CatGirl & GameBoy.
Twenty-six years ago I lost my right leg to bone cancer. Awhile ago I had an antibiotic-resistant infection in my lower left leg, and now I'm healing from surgery and feeling better every day.
I like gardening, making history, outrigger canoeing, trying new things, and my afternoon cup of tea.

Not that sweet little sleeping thing.
I do have to say that I don't think I've ever seen a kitty curled up in such a tight little ball that she had her tail wrapped around here head.

Hee hee hee -- yes, but a very, very cute one.
I think she is dreaming of the taste of bunny. I think that's why she looks so happy.

Toby curls up like this all the time. I suppose it might be because she's so teeny that she gets cold easily. In some ways her tail seems much more like a monkey's than a cat's.
Toby is such a cute little ball of fluff that I think I am totally in denial about her carnivorous fantasies....
