Just had to share this picture of me with some of my team members after a recent outrigger race. They are such awesome strong women!
In two weeks we'll be 'graduating' and moving up to being regular team members rather than 1st-year novices. This is so exciting!

Wow, I haven't thought of you as being really tall, Jana. (Or is everyone else in the picture on the short side?)
Yah, I don't think of myself as very tall, either--mostly because at 5'9", I'm the shortest person in my family. But among my friends, I do tend to be taller than most. And apparently, the same for among the female paddlers on my team. :)
Actually, seeing this photo was the first time I realized that I was taller than the others--it surprised me, too!
