Around here, we celebrate Anti-Consumer Day each year on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Here's hoping that your day is filled with joy, friends, family, and all the stuff that money can't buy! :)

I'm with you! I refuse to "buy" into the hype. Personally, having a stress-free day at home.
Lordy mama, you couldn't PAY me to go anywhere near a retail store on Black Friday! I hate the hype, I hate the stories about people fighting over or even getting killed for "stuff" - not anything anyone needs to survive. Now that some of my nephews and my oldest niece are getting a bit older, maybe I'll "buy" them an animal from Heifer International (www.heifer.org) or make a donation in their honor to our local children's hospital.

Joining you except for the ticket to see "Milk" this afternoon.
Thank you for giving me something to write about today. :)
