pilgrim classic: a crazy quilt

Crazy quilt, originally uploaded by pilgrimgirl.

CatGirl assembled this quilt a few years ago with the help of Aunt Suz. She and I collected fabric bits for several years for this colorful creation.

It reminds me of CatGirl herself: full of whimsy and color. And brilliant in every way.

Gorgeous! Both Cat Girl and the quilt. I'm in awe of her talent.

I love this picture. So many of the pictures I see here of CatGirl make her look older, closer to teenage, even when her height is clearly shown. In this one she is so clearly still a little girl.

And yeah, dang. Talent in spades. I so look forward to seeing how it develops.

She is still my little girl, but she's grown about 5" since this photo was taken! :)

Some days she seems still the little monkey that was always on my lap and clinging around my neck. Other days she is a fiercely strong and confident young woman. I love that she is both and I am so looking forward to all that lies ahead for her!
