From here you can see my garden on the right: the sign, some flowers, Ned the elephant, and the peach tree way in the backity back.

I was raised Mormon, but now I'm a hippie Quaker living in the OC with my two teenage kids: CatGirl & GameBoy.
Twenty-six years ago I lost my right leg to bone cancer. Awhile ago I had an antibiotic-resistant infection in my lower left leg, and now I'm healing from surgery and feeling better every day.
I like gardening, making history, outrigger canoeing, trying new things, and my afternoon cup of tea.

A Blue garden gate tells me that you are one of the anointed ones. Soon you will be called to teach all things gardening.

I'm glad you like the gate! The color changes every year. Last year it was a bold purple, the year before that, yellow w/red ladybugs (drawn by my kids).
But this year the gate told me that it should be blue. It's funny how gates have opinions about such things....
As for teaching gardening: I'm such a novice that I doubt I'll ever be a teacher. But I do love sharing my enthusiasm for gardening. :)
