I'm not sure why, but I really like the way the lighting on this photo turned out--how the background is in shadow and the white blossoms contrast with that. Honeysuckle are such oddly-shaped flowers, don't you think?

I like the stamens. They are very lively looking.
It's hard photographing white flowers in bright sun with a digital camera. (Or so say I.) You've done very well in this one and the other one further down the page. Sun can wash away the details turning the petals into pure graphics, but it didn't in either of these shots. The stamens just add even more exuberant life in both, though each ends up with a different mood. (Yes, I'm still nattering on about that.)
I hope this is coherent. My brain has not yet absorbed its RDA of caffeine.
(And yes, it does occur to me that that is a funny thing to write on the blog of a transitioning Mormon. Heh.)
