I was raised Mormon, but now I'm a hippie Quaker living in the OC with my two teenage kids: CatGirl & GameBoy.
Twenty-six years ago I lost my right leg to bone cancer. Awhile ago I had an antibiotic-resistant infection in my lower left leg, and now I'm healing from surgery and feeling better every day.
I like gardening, making history, outrigger canoeing, trying new things, and my afternoon cup of tea.

Lantana. Judi loves these flowers, and grows the plants in pots. Sadly, many here in Florida consider them to be weeds.
Jana-in your case you should quit your day job and become a photographer. Your pictures are amazing!
I love them even though they can be invasive. I especially love the ones where the centers are differently-colored from the edge flowers!
Tanya: I do so wish I could take photos all day long! But it's also great that it's just a hobby because I don't have to be too perfect at it, if you know what I mean. It's just play. Though I certainly wouldn't complain if folks wanted to buy some of my pics. :)
Hmmm...we may need to talk about that....and what color pictures I need. Have you thought about doing any black and whites?
