This blossom is from the dwarf satsuma tree that my Mom gave me for my birthday 2 years ago. The little tree is thriving in its new home in my garden (it didn't seem to like my porch so well).
I wish I could bottle the scent to share with you, too. It's intoxicating!

Mmmmm. Up here in our part of the state, there are lots and lots of orange trees, whole orchards of them. Even here in town, when the trees are in bloom, the scent is everywhere ...especially in the evening.
