Not much else to say except that THE GRADES ARE IN (thus, summer teaching responsibilities are officially over). Meaning, that I now have 1.2 days of summer left to enjoy before school starts again. woohoo.

I was raised Mormon, but now I'm a hippie Quaker living in the OC with my two teenage kids: CatGirl & GameBoy.
Twenty-six years ago I lost my right leg to bone cancer. Awhile ago I had an antibiotic-resistant infection in my lower left leg, and now I'm healing from surgery and feeling better every day.
I like gardening, making history, outrigger canoeing, trying new things, and my afternoon cup of tea.

I have to admit that I like these pseudonyms (eponymous pseudonyms) better than E and C. E and C sounded a little anachronistic, like something out of a letter or a diary entry referenced in a 19th century novel. Turgenev perhaps. Besides, it was hard to remember who was who.
I hope you've enjoyed your 1.2 days off!!!
