ridin' on the metro-o-oh....

Not a very impressive list. But there is quality in this list, even if there isn't quantity :)

Try it yourself!

Thia is a pretty cool site.

I use the T daily, surely a memorable icon of Boston. Here's the rest for me:

MBTA (Boston)

Paris

London

DC

Baltimore

Montreal

Amsterdam

Rotterdam

Madrid

Barcelona

Vienna

Chicago

Chicago

I've ridden trains in Portland and throughout California that somehow didn't make this list. It kind of bums me out that my list is so short when I am such a train-fan!

I bet if you obtained the logos and the proof to the person who maintains that site they would load them for you.

The list is vastly incomplete; virtually every city in Europe has a metro, and this list only includes the real biggies, missing many of the cities I frequently rode while living in Germany (Mannheim, Kaiserslautern, Trier, Fulda, etc.). Then again, maybe it's only listing the big hubs...? Do streetcars count?

I've always liked that particular Berlin song...
