down memory lane

My first blog was at www.enivri.com. When I ceased paying for my own domain name, the blog disappeared and I never bothered to save my posts anywhere.

John recently showed me how to use the "wayback machine," which gives a window into my world from 4 or 5 years ago through its archives of my old blog. This is cooler than cool.

--See my post on enivri.com after my first attempt at rock climbing [Note: my butt is not really as big as it looks in this particular picture]
--The post where I write about our move to a teeny-tiny apartment at UCI--a rather momentous event in our family's history.
--My farewell post at www.enivri.com.

Your decision to return to school with your husband inspires me. It is nice to know that there are other people who feel that life is to short to be spent building a career. I left a good job to work with the disabled when I saw things in the business world that to me seemed to not merely ethically wrong, but morally ireprehensible. Well, take care. I enjoy both of the Remy's blogs and look forward to more.

Good for you rusch!! It takes so much courage to "march to your own drummer," we all need to support each other in our endeavor(s) to do so! :)

rich: I was struck by the same feeling as I read those old entries. I was so angry then, so convinced that people would soon see the error of a futile war. Now, I'm cynical and jaded. I just can't believe that a huge chunk of the American people _still_ support the pres and his ridiculous war....
