things that make me just a little bit sad...

1) My kids having enough homework to keep them busy until bedtime. Every weekday.
2) Eating the last of my valentine's gummies.
3) Copy machines that are so smart that they decide how they'll make your copies. Despite what you tell them about how you want to make your copies.
4) 7th week. 'nuff said.
5) Only junk mail today.
6) A sink full of dishes
7) Cat vomit. That E walked through on her way to the kitchen.

Do you have an older cat? One of ours is almost twenty. The logistical problems the many outputs of older cats in inappropriate locations is a challenge. especially for he who gets up first each morning.

Poor kitty. Poor Emma. Poor everyone. Yeah, I'm not too fond of cat puke myself.

I had a cat who could not be kept inside and who hunted. She puked a lot too, and it was especially gross vomit. Since losing a deeply beloved cat when she was hit by a car, and since dealing with the hunter/puker, I am determined to have only indoor kitties from here on out.

Cat vomit is bad, but cat pee is like the work of the devil...you can never get rid of that smell.

This is why my cat Nellie has to live outside. I TOLD her not to pee on my closet floor, but she couldn't resist.

So nice to know that many of my readers are also cat lovers! :)

Yes, cat puke is nasty. Fortunately only TobyJoy suffers from an occasional choking fit/vomit episode. And neither of the girls seem prone to leaving any other bodily fluids around the house. (Can you hear me knocking on my wooden table?)...

They are both young (3-ish) and very healthy. Hopefully they will stay that way (the healthy part) for a long, long time!
