I think I was folding laundry when John grabbed me around the shoulders and snapped this pic. It's a bit, um, unsettling to live with someone who has a camera in hand nearly all the time. I'm starting to get used to it, though. (isn't he a cutie? and that HAIR...jealous, much).

Twenty-six years ago I lost my right leg to bone cancer. Awhile ago I had an antibiotic-resistant infection in my lower left leg, and now I'm healing from surgery and feeling better every day.
I like gardening, making history, outrigger canoeing, trying new things, and my afternoon cup of tea.

I used to cringe whenever I faced that lens of his. I'm starting to learn to pose a bit, given that all those pics of me end up on the internets (flickr) and I don't want to look sucky/sulky/saggy/etc. :)
