an end...and a beginning

So today I finished the required coursework for my Ph.D. That means that from here on out I may sit in on a few classes, but that's entirely at my discretion.

So, what now? My Qualifying Exam (a rather grueling oral exam) will be on April 20th.

Then the dissertation work commences...

Yeah! :)

Congrats!!!! Good luck on the 20th! My friend would always get offended when her friends and family would ask how her "paper" was coming along. Sheesh the nerve! It is clearly not a paper, it is a dissertation! A freaking book!

So, how's your paper going....Sorry, I couldn't help it.

That is so great. Congratulations!

Your blog is great! I love your title, "Observant Woman," and your theme of discussing women & healthcare. I'm a big fan of Paul Farmer and of other physician activists who are impacting our world.

I'll be adding you to the blogroll in my sidebar. Thanks for joining in the pilgrimgirl community! :)
