I work at one AND go to graduate school and we have not only no support for the Humanities but little to no support for academics in general (but all kinds of money and good things for athletics and the non-academic soft money programs). It is frustrating and discouraging. I can only hope that things will improve with an upswing in the economy - although by then I might have sadly packed up my tent and gone...<br /><br />(btw - thanks for the kind words for admins. Incidentally, I worked with Dale Was...Love this. <br /><br />Incidentally, I worked with Dale Wasserman on the premiere of a his musical play "Western Star" almost 20 years ago -- He was great to work with. Very decisive. No putzing around with a scene that wasn't working. He'd intuit an immediate tweak or he'd trash it and bring something new in the next day.
